The microwave 360° presence sensor for suspended ceilings is an advanced device perfect for monitoring presence in rooms. The device uses passive infrared (PIR) technology responding to movement in its field of view. The presence sensor detects very slight movements, such as the movement of a hand, the turning of the head and even the breathing of a seating person. This allows to monitor whether someone is in the room, even if they do not move significantly. Being mounted on the ceiling, it offers a full 360° scanning angle ensuring effective coverage of the entire monitored area. The device is suitable for flush-mounting in ceilings with an optimum installation height of 2.2-4 m. The diameter of presence detection on floor is 3 m, and the diameter of motion detection reaches up to 6 m. The sensor operates at 24 GHz and detects movement at a speed of 0.6 to 1.5 m/s.
